Macher Tarkari




A fish curry of West Bengal, Macher Tarkari is a common wedding recipe. The fish is fried and then cooked with tomato paste, garlic paste, green chilies, curry powders and saute diced onions. It is garnish with chopped coriander leaves before serving. Macher Tarkari is also cooked using vegetables along with fish. It is a good accompaniment for rice.
