Maagh

Maagh is the 11th month of the Hindu Calendar. According to Gregorian calendar, this month commences from the mid of January and extends to the mid of February. Makar Sankranti falls in this month. The harvest festival of Magh Bihu in Assam, and Kaw Punim, dedicated to crows, in Jammu and Kashmir are celebrated in the month of Maagh.
