Lungkulh

Lungkulh is a historical site in the Mamit District of Mizoram. Originally a brick construction, the site now looks like a mound. There are man made lakes which are now protected by the Mizoram Forest Department. The lakes and valuable remains found in this site reveal the existence of an ancient civilization. General speculation is that the site might be occupied by either one-generation of Maharaja of Tripura or Manipur. Lungkulh is 5 km from Zamuang and 150 km from Aizawl.
