Losar

Losar is the first main village in the Spiti Valley, near the confluence of Losar and Peeno streams, in Lahaul and Spiti District, Himachal Pradesh.

The beautiful apple orchards, scenic poplar woods and the vast fields of vegetables that dot its landscape provide an awe-inspiring sight. Losar is about 55 km from Kaza.

The village offers yak and horse riding and there are a couple of guesthouses available at reasonable rate.

The Kunzum Pass is just 18 km to the west of Losar.
