Lingti




Lingti is a small hamlet situated nine kilometers from Sichling in Lahaul and Spiti District, Himachal Pradesh. It lies at an altitude of 3,460 m above sea level in Lingti Valley. Here Pin and Lingti rivers join the Spiti River. Nearby tourist destinations include Dhankar Fort, Attargo, Dhankar Monastery, Serkhang, Mane Monastery, Kye Monastery, Poh, Kibber Monastery and Lalung. Lingti is an ideal base for trekking. Accommodation is available. Kullu Manali Airport at Bhuntar is the nearest airport. The nearest major railway stations are Shimla Railway Station and Joginder Nagar Railway Station. Lingi is approachable from Dhankar (9 km) by road.
