Lingayat Siddeshwara Festival

Lingayat Siddeshwara Festival is celebrated annually at Bijapur in the month of January or February. Bijapur is the center for the Lingayat, a form of Shaivism, which emphasizes on a single personalized God. The festival is a time of great amusement and the celebrations lasts for eight days.
