Lime Butterfly (Papilio demolus) is one of the commonest butterflies in plains, wooded regions and hills of India. It is a quick flier. The butterfly is seen drinking water from mud puddles. It is fond of flowers of all citrus, radish and curry leaf. Lime Butterfly also likes migrant flights. Citrus Butterfly, Lime Swallowtail and Chequered Swallowtail are other names.
