Lichchhavis

Lichchhavis is believed to be of Tibetan descent who migrated to Nepal from north India around 250 AD. They were ruling modern Bihar after the downfall of the Soma dynasty. Supushpa was the founder of Lichchhavi dynasty. The first Lichchhavis king of historical importance was Manadeva I.

A stupa erected by the Lichchhavis in Vaishali stands as a fine specimen of the architecture of the bygone era.
