Leshemi

Leshemi is the oldest village of the Pfutsero block, located in Phek District of Nagaland. It is about 12 km from Pfutsero. This small village is of great archeological importance as many remains from Neolithic and Megalithic period were discovered here by the Department of History and Archeology of Nagaland University. The place also boasts an ancient temple.

By road, Leshemi can be easily approached from Pfutsero. The nearest airport and railhead are in Dimapur.
