Lakhipathar

Lakhipathar is a pristine village close to the oil city of Digboi, about 530 km east of Guwahati, Assam's biggest city. It is 10 km east of Digboi and 60 km from Dibrugarh. Lakhipathar is covered with dense bamboo forest contiguous to Arunachal Pradesh and Myanmar. Oil India Limited has oil fields in this village. Digboi Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
