Lakhawati Camp

The Lakhawati Camp is a winter base camp set at the hamlet of Lakhawati on the Shailvi River in a rustic setting below the Choordhar Peak in Sirmaur District. Legend says that it is the place where the Pandavas lived during their exile. This 5 day camp is organized every year from October to March.

Accommodation is offered in Swiss tents. Sleeping bag, mat, torch, water bottle, first aid and guide for short trek are available. There are indoor and out door game facilities. The camp kitchen serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.

Lakhawati is 3-hour drive from Shimla.
