Kuvalassery Mahadeva Temple

Kuvalassery Mahadev Temple is a beautiful temple situated near Kattakada at Pongumoodu in Thiruvananthapuram District of Kerala. This temple is the abode of Lord Shiva, also hailed as Mahadev.

The temple complex has shrines dedicated to Lord Ganesh, goddess Durga and Nagaraja. Mahashivratri and Vinayaka Chaturthi are celebrated here in great grandeur.

Regular buses are available from Thiruvananthapuram and Neyyattinkara. Trivandrum International Airport (35 km) and Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station (28 km) are the nearest airport and railway station.
