Kutch Bustard Sanctuary




Kutch Bustard Sanctuary, spread over 2 sq km, is situated near Naliya in Kutch District of Gujarat. This sanctuary was established with a view to protect the endangered, Great Indian Bustard.

Besides the Great Indian Bustard, one can spot harriers, eagles, migratory birds, jungle cat, desert cat and chinkara.

The best time to visit this sanctuary is from late monsoon to winter.

Nearest airport is at Bhuj (110 km). Nearest railhead is Naliya Railway Station (20 km).
