Kulacchirai Nayanar

Kulacchirai Nayanar was one of the 63 nayanars explained in the Periya Puranam. He was a greate devotee of Lord Shiva and born in Manamerkudi of Pandyan kingdom. Nayanar was the Prime Minister of the Pandyan king. Though, Kulacchirai Nayanar was the richest man in the place, he himself regarded as the slave of Shiva Bhaktas (devotees). Finally he attained Shiva’s abode after serving the Shiva bhaktas for a long period.
