Kuchla, also known as Nux Vomica, is a common medicinal plant, found in the Western ghats, Bihar and Orissa. It helps to reduce the side effects of antibiotics and is well known as an universal antidote. The seeds of this plant are used for the treatment of bleeding piles. The Kuchla seeds with ghee are used as an effective painkiller. Kuchla is popularly known as dog-poison. The Kuchla is also used in the treatment of common cough.
