Krishnagiti




Krishnagiti is the Sanskrit work of the zamorin king, Manaveda, completed in 1654. The work consists of ‘padas’ and ‘slokas’. It was a dedication by the writer to Lord Krishna. Krishnagiti is recited during performances of Krishnanattam. Krishnagiti day is celebrated on the 30th of the Malayalam month, Thulam. Famous writers have made translations and briefings for Krishnagiti.
