Kottayam Social Service Society (KSSS), a non-profit charitable society run by the Catholic Diocese of Kottayam, started its activities in 1964 at
Kottayam in
Kerala. This organization has been started to serve the poor, women, widows, handicapped, aged, children and the unorganized and marginalized sections of the society regardless of caste and creed. It plays an active role in the fields of human resource development, sustainable agriculture, social and physical infrastructure of development, employment and income generation.
Presently, the organization is working primarily in five civil districts of Kerala namely, Kottayam, Idukki, Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam and Alappuzha, covering approximately 76 rural villages.
Central Office is located at Chaithanya on the M C Road at Thellakom in Kottayam.
