Kopela

Kopela lies on National Highway 16, about 28 km east of Sironcha, towards the southern tip of Gadchiroli District. It is around 16 km north-east of Ankisha and is hardly 20 km from the district’s border with Andhra Pradesh.

Sivaram Wildlife Sanctuary, Manthani Temple, Sironcha, Eturnagaram Wildlife Sanctuary, the temple complex at Markandeshwar, Vairagad Fort, the sacred site of Ekora, Bhopalpatnam Dam and Indravati National Park are tourist sites in the area.

Sonegaon Airport and Hyderabad Airport serve Kopela.
