Kopai River

Kopai River, one of the tributaries of the river Mayurakshi, flows through the villages of Goalapara, Mahisdal and Shantiniketan in Birbhum District. It has lost its course in many places and becomes so narrow at some places. The river overflows during extensive rainfall in the monsoon seasons.
