Kokkara




Kokkara is a primitive instrument used by the Savaras, and the Pulayans and Kanikars of Kerala.

The instrument is made up of iron. An iron nail is used to make music; wood was used instead in the past. This instrument is mainly used with the ‘Chattu pattu’.
