Kodumon Chilanthiyambalam is located about 15 km from
Pathanamthitta, in
Kerala. The temple enshrines
Goddess Lakshmi as the presiding deity. It is believed that the temple was built during the reign of the last king of the Sakthibhadra Kingdom. The water of the Chilanthikinar (well) in the premises of the temple is regarded is believed to have medicinal qualities.
