Kodumanal




A place of tremendous archaeological value, historicity and antiquity, Kodumanal is a tiny village situated on the banks of Noyyal River. It lies between Coimbatore and Erode and is around 40 km from Erode.

It was earlier known as Kodumanam and is rich with remains of a megalithic settlement dating back to the 2nd Century BC. The place is believed to have had trade relations with the Roman Empire.
