Kobet Peak is situated to the north of Hundur in
Leh District of
Jammu and Kashmir. Surrounding mountains and the valley make this place enchanting.
A pleasant walk from Diskit along the Nubra Valley brings one to this place. The main attraction here is the trip on the Bactrian camel’s back. Buses are available from Diskit to Hundur.
Another local attraction is the monastery at Hundur. Remains of another monastery are seen along the crags a short walk above the road.
