Kitupiti

Kitupiti is a set of two percussion instruments of Kerala, though relatively rare. Closely resembling the tabla, the Kitupiti is played for temple rituals. The twin drums are kept close together, while played on with short sticks.

Guruvayoor and Tiruvilvamala are the major temples that use the Kitupiti during rituals.
