Khudurukuni Osha

Khudurukuni Osha is observed by the young girls of Orissa in the month of Bhadrava (August-September). They worship goddess Mangala on every Sunday morning. The goddess performs miracles to cure leprosy and other dangerous diseases. Local people believe that if one does not fast after attaining boon, one will incur the wrath of the goddess.
