Khatra

Khatra is a small town, located on the banks of the Kangsabati River (Kasai River), in Bankura District of West Bengal. It is situated about 36 km from Jhilimili.

Ranibandh, Taldangra, Mukutmanipur and Ambikanagar, an ancient center of Jain culture, are the nearby attractions.

The town also offers a grand view of the Masak and Lady Hill, located at an altitude of 112 ft, in Khatra.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport is the nearest airport. Bankura Railway Station serves Khatra.
