Khargupur is the northern-most town in Gonda District, located close to Shravasti District border. To the south of this town lies Prithvi Nathan Mahadeo, an old temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
From Khargupur, one can visit Sri Nagar Math, a famous religious site on the Gonda-Utraula road.
