Kerala Varma Valiya Koyi Thampuran
Kerala Varma Valiya Koyi Thampuran, born on 1845, at Lakshmipuram, Changanacherry, was a famous Malayalam poet and essayist. The famous Saraswati Vilasom Palace at Thiruvananthapuram was once his residence. Manipravalasakunthalam, Mayoorasandesam and Deivayogam are his famous poems. Sanmaarga Samagraham, Vijnaana Manjari and Sanmaarga Pradeepam are some of his well known essays. He has also written a novel, Akbar.
