Kentish Plover (Charadrius alexandrinus) is an attractive small wader of about 17 cm. It has black beak and grayish-black legs, while the forehead and supercilium is white. The blackish feathers with a strong white wing bar are conspicuous on flight.
The bird feeds on insects and other invertebrates. Three to five eggs are laid.
Kentish Plover can be seen in the Keoladeo Ghana National Park, Rajasthan.
