Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, recognized by the Medical Council of India, is affiliated to the
Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. It offers post graduate courses in Anatomy, Biochemistry, Community Medicine, Ophthalmology, Pathology, Surgery, Anesthesiology, and Pediatrics. Students are posted to various hospitals for clinical training. Besides a library, the institute also has a full fledged audio visual centre.
