Keekali Dance




Keekali Dance, also known as Kikli, is a dance form popular among the girls in Himachal Pradesh. It can be performed by any number of performers, and is done in pairs. The participants hold hands crosswise, and move fast on their toes. A traditional song is accompanied with the dance.

During the performance, the girls swirl around with colorful dupattas, and their anklets produce tinkling melody.
