Keechaka

Keechaka, the son of Kekaya, was born to a queen named Malavi. He was the brother-in-law and the army commander of King Virata. He was lustful towards Draupadi and always tortured her. Draupadi was serving as a maid-in-waiting to her sister Sushena during Pandava's exile. Desperately she asked Bhima who was a cook in the same palace, to solve her dilemma. According to Bhima’s plan she invited Keechaka to meet her late in the night and he was killed by Bhima.

Keeranur in Tamil Nadu is believed to be where Bhima killed Keechaka.
