Kasarkod

Kasarkod is a coastal town in Uttara Kannada District of Karnataka. It is 4 km south of Honnavar and 9 km north of Manki.

Shri Gopal Krishna Temple is the major attraction here. Between Kasarkod and Honnavar, Sharavati River appears as a lake and is nearly 2 km wide.

Nearest airport is Goa Airport and railway station is Honnavar Railway Station. National Highway 17 passes through Kasarkod. The Konkan Railways also has its route through Kasargod.
