Karumathampatti is a town located to the north-east of
Coimbatore District in
Tamil Nadu. It is about 27 km from
Coimbatore and is at an altitude of about 1,079 ft above sea level. Irugur in the west,
Annur in the north,
Avinashi in the east and Sulur in the south surrounds Karumathampatti by four sides.
Karumathampatti can be easily approached as it is on the National Highway 47, which leads to Salem (123 km). Regular bus services are available from Sevur, Somanur and Avinashi. The convenient railhead is Irugur Railway Station served by the Southern Railways.
