Karkateswarar Temple

Karkateswarar Temple is located at Tirundudevankudi, 8 km east of Kumbakonam in Thanjavur District. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and the deity is known as Karkateswarar. The temple covers an area of over 72,000 square foot.
