Karikkat is a picturesque village situated 3 km north of Manjeri in Malappuram District. This village is famous for an ancient temple devoted to Lord Subramanya. According to historians, this temple was one of the major pilgrimage centers in the area, with vast properties attached to it. The temple inscriptions dating back to the 11th century are worth visiting. The Trikkalangode Temple, noted for the Manjeri Pooram festival, is the nearby attraction. Calicut Airport is the nearest airport.
