Karan Anuyoga

Ganit Anuyog



Karan Anuyoga is a collection of texts highly revered by the Digambar sect of Jain religion. The collection, sometimes also referred by the name Ganit Anuyog, deal with the sciences studying the various aspects of the Universe. The topics include geography, mathematics, astronomy, astrology and other similar subjects.

There are four texts in the Karan Anuyoga collection - Surya Prajnapti, Chandra prajnapti, Jaya dhaval tika and Gommat sar. Out of these Jaya dhaval tika was written by Virsen and Jinsen in AD 780. Gommat sar was composed by another religious figure named Nemichandra Siddhant Chakravarti in AD 1000.
