Kanoor is a small village situated in the Shimoga District of Karnataka. It is about 50 km from Jog Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in India, on the way to Bhatkal. Major point of attraction is the Kanoor Fort, built by Kari Maneesena Rani Abbaka Devi of Keladi dynasty.
