Kanda is a term from
yoga and represents the center of the astral body. It is from where all nadis (channels) spring and carries the vital energy to different parts of the body.
Kanda is believed to be egg shaped and is situated between the anus and the reproductive organ. It is in the junction where Sushumna nadi (one of the three major nadis in the body) is connected with Mooladhara chakra (one of the seven Chakras/energy centers).
