of Sri Haridasa Acharya, an associate of Lord Chaitanya. Being a devotee of the lord, he was told by Chaitanya to live in Vrindavan
. Thus, he was also known as Braja Haridasa.
Kancha Gadiya is also the home for many great persons. Sri Radha Ballava Dasa Mandala, a person who translated the Vilap Kusumanjali of Sri Raghunatha Dasa Goswami, had his resident at this place. The Asta Kavirajas - Narasimha Kaviraja and Sri Raghunatha Kar also lived here.
