Kalhana

A renowned Sanskrit poet of the 12the century, Kalhana was a minister of King Harsha. He is credited with the composition of 'Rajatarangini', which is believed to be the first written history of the world. It includes a record of Kashmiri kings from prehistoric times to the 12th century.
