Kala Adusalsa is a deciduous shrub seen in moister areas of the
Himalayas. It belongs to the family Acanthaceae.
The plant requires light (sandy), medium (loamy) and heavy (clay) soils. It can grow in semi-shade or full sun. The leaf has antispasmodic, carminative and antiperiodic properties. Kala adusalsa cures respiratory disorders and digestive troubles.
