Kakandi Teerth




Kakandi Teerth is a Jain temple is situated at Kakandi village in Munger District of Bihar. The temple is dedicated to the Jain god Suvidhinath Bhagwan. The idol of the deity is very ancient and artistic. This place is believed to be the birth place of Suvidhinath Bhagwan. He is said to have attained supreme knowledge in Jain religion, at this particular spot. He was the ninth of the 24 Teerthankars, ones with supreme knowledge in Jainism. The managing body of this temple is Shri Jain shwetambar Tirth Pedhi.
