Kadalipazha Nivedyam

Kadalipazha Nivedyam is a type of Naivedyam offered to the deities in certain temples in Kerala. It is mainly offered to Lord Krishna, Lord Ganesh, Lord Shiva, and Lord Vishnu. Kadalipazha Nivedyam is made by slicing the Kadalipazham (a variety of banana) into small pieces and mixing it with rock-sugar, jaggery and other ingredients. After the ritual, the nivedyam is offered to the devotees as prasad.
