Jesal-Toral Fair is celebrated at Anjar, about 45 km south-east of
Bhuj, in
Kutch District. This fair is celebrated in the memory of saintly couple Jesal and Toral. Jesal was a famous bandit (robber) of Kutch, who after the company of Toral, a holy princess, changed and became the saint. Together they served the people in Kutch. Jesal-Toral Fair is one of the most colorful fairs organized in the district.
