Situated at Eroor, on the suburb of Kochi in Ernakulam District, Janey Centre is a day school for mentally disabled children. Rehabilitation and training are offered at the center.
The older students are rehabilitated through a vocational program and infants through an early intervention program. Vocational program includes training in candles, garlands, plastic and cotton flowers,
Christmas cards, curio items, dish washing powder and medicinal cover making. Early invention programs include physical therapy for children of five years or younger. Physical training and counseling are part of education.
Free lunch and medicine are available for poor children. If the children are not able to come to Janey Centre, they are trained at the home. Transportation facility is available.
