Jamidika

Jamidika is a one-end-opened drum with a slightly barrel-shaped or bucket-shaped resonator. The closed end is covered with a thin parchment. A string is tied at the center of the thin parchment, which goes through the inside of the instrument. This is tied to a stick at the other end. Jamidika is used as an accompaniment while singing ballads.
