Jam Tort is a tall, thorny open headed medium sized tree. It belongs to the family Rosaceae and has white flowers on spurs, and edible, sweet willow green oval pome.
Jam Tort is mostly used for fencing. The fruits are dried and relished. The tree is also used for making agricultural implements, as a suitable rootstock for pear.
