Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College

Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College, established in 1961, has courses in six branches of engineering: Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, and Mechanical Engineering. There are also separate departments for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Humanities. A central library, canteen, gymnasium, and athletic building are also attached. Separate hostel facilities are available for male and female students.
