Izhikkara River

Izhikkara River is an important river flowing through the districts of Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam. This 56 km long river, with a catchment area of about 642 sq km, originates from the Madathurikunnu hills at a height of 240 m. Vattaparambu and Vattam Thodu are the main tributaries of the river.
